Here’s a quick lesson on how to play a fast flurry of notes in a bluesy way such as is used by John Mayer, SRV, Albert Collins etc. It uses the C Minor Pentatonic Scale & takes advantage of Hammer-ons, Pull-offs & Sweeps (Economy Picking).
