This is the first in my series of Jazz Standard Analyses.
When I was starting to learn jazz I would have loved a resource like this that explained the harmonic function and most consonant scale usage of a jazz standard. It’s important also when learning such a tune to learn the melody and how it relates to both the key and the chord that it’s being played over.
All of the resources on my website are made for free and they do take considerable time & effort.
